SUMMARY:Middle School Health and Fitness Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:As many of you know\, last year we did a Health and Fitness fundraiser that not only provided our students with new learning opportunities and physical challenges\, but also raised funds to buy the Gaga ball game that is now used daily in the gym.  \n  \nThis year we have an even larger goal! We would like to start a Middle School CPR Program at Provident! Middle School CPR Program will train students in:  \n  \n\nRecognizing emergencies and what to do\nBasic first aid\nHands only CPR\n\n  \nWe cannot do it alone! We want to provide another event where students will overcome physical challenges\, gain knowledge\, and also work towards their CPR Program goal! \n  \nStudents will rotate through stations including: Obstacle Courses\, Kick Challenge\, Taste Test\, Health Trivia\, Safety Relay and more. \n  \nStudents will receive a punch card at the event and it will operate in similar fashion to a Walk-a-Thon. They will get a punch for every new food they try\, obstacle they complete\, or trivia question they can answer! Encourage your students to invite family and friends to support them! Whether its $0.10 or $10/ punch – every little bit will help! *After the event\, students will bring home their punch cards and supporters can make checks out to Provident Charter School* \n  \nWe have a goal of $4\,000 to fully fund our CPR program.
