Boston Trip Informational Session

    • Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2026
    • Time: 6:30 pm
    • Overview: We are so excited to announce that we have partnered with EF Tours and are planning a trip to Boston for June 2027. This trip is available to students at both schools who are currently in 5th, 6th, and 7th grade. We will visit Quincy Market, Harvard Square, Plymouth, Salem, and more. This informational session will be held Wednesday, January 21st at 6:30pm to discuss our itinerary, what’s included, price, safety, and scholarship opportunities available for our students. You can attend this meeting virtually or in person at Central as it will be hybrid.
    • There is limited space on this trip and spots will be filled up on a first-come, first-served basis. It will be necessary to come to the meeting in order to enroll on our tour. Registration for this session is mandatory to help organize our meeting, and a parent or guardian must attend.

    • Guest Presenter: Ryan Klingensmith from Shape the Sky

    • Overview: During this virtual presentation, Mr. Klingensmith will guide participants on how to support children in using smartphones, social media, and artificial intelligence in safe, responsible, and thoughtful ways. He will offer an inside look at the digital world kids live in today, helping you feel more confident and prepared to talk about these topics with them effectively.

Valentine’s Cake Decorating Night
PCS West

    • Overview: Join us for a fun and festive Valentine’s Cake Decorating Night! hosted in partnership with The Baker’s Dozen Academy. Families will work together to decorate sweet Valentine-themed treats with guidance from professional bakers. Each registered family will receive one heart-shaped cake to decorate together, and each student in the family will also receive their own cupcake to design and decorate.

PCS West Family Luncheon

        • First Lunch Grades 2, 3, & 4 – 11:45
        • Second Lunch Grades 5 & 6 – 12:25
    • Location: PCS West 200 Quigley Drive, Baden PA 15005
    • Overview: JWe are excited to invite parents and guardians to join us on campus for our upcoming Family Luncheon, a special opportunity to share a meal with your child during the school day. This luncheon also serves as a fundraiser for our school cafeteria, helping us support meal programs, supplies, and special food-related initiatives for our students.
    • Families may choose to bring their own lunch for a $5 participation fee or purchase a school lunch for $8. Our lunch options will include chicken caesar salad or beef and broccoli.
    • Due to space and capacity limitations, each student may invite one family member or guardian to attend.

Recorded Sessions

Monthly Meet-up (Virtual)

Our September session featured Mrs. Maria Paluselli, CEO. Her presentation described PCS’ efforts to increase kindness and decrease negative interactions among our students. 

Our November Monthly Meet-Up featured members of the PCS Board of Trustees in a panel-style discussion. Board members shared how and why they became involved with PCS, their personal connections to dyslexia, what inspired them to stay engaged, and their vision for the school’s future.

Our January meet-up featured staff members, Ms. Amanda Pinto and Ms. Meghan Bryte, who shared how both schools build positive school culture through spirit initiatives, student council, House events, traditions, and annual celebrations, and more.
