Recycling & Litter Prevention (4th grade only program)

Nancy Martin-Silber, from Education and Watersheds, will be hosting this fun and interesting program.
Recycling Olympics – An exciting and educational event in which kids compete in a variety of relays and races using recyclable or recycled materials. This event is designed to teach children about the importance of recycling and protecting the environment in a fun. The Recycling Olympics feature activities such as: the Recycling Relay.
Litter Prevention Program – This one session 45 minute in-classroom program is designed to teach elementary and middle school students about litter and why it is a problem in their community. Students learn about the amount of litter occurring in Pennsylvania and ways they can reduce it.
