Innovative Methods

PCS students build skills and connect to their strengths through a unique combination of effective curriculum and innovative classroom models. Each classroom has two co-teachers who are trained in Orton Gillingham-based reading remediation, multisensory instructional methods and individual learning plans. Teachers establish deep connections and understanding of each student’s abilities and needs. Our school counselor and interventionists are on hand for learners who need extra support.
Bringing Joy to Learning

Reading results start on Day One at PCS. For students who haven’t seen a lot of academic success, this can be a revelation to them – and their families.
